Can't believe how negligent I have been with this blog. Time and life has a way of interrupting our good intentions !
I am enclosing a couple pictures of two new listings at Etsy.
They are my designs.
Enjoy

A warm Hoosier Welcome
It has been a while since this Hoosier gal has posted anything. Am trying to get back in the groove . Will be posted sewing, decorating and crafting tips. I like frugality, using what you have in your present stash.

M E R R Y C H R I S T M A S
Boy, it has been a lonnnnnng time since last posting. Guess things more
important took over.
Wanted to get this Christmas wish posted before it was here and gone.
Praying that each of you will find the Peace & Joy through Christ this
Christmas Season, and continue with it throughout the New Year.
He is faithful !

SUNFLOWER QUILT
I can hardly believe this is truly the end of Summer ! Gracious where did it go too? I have been so negligent in posting on my blog. Perhaps, my energy will be revived to begin posting often once more.
Here is a photo of my August / September Sunflower Wall Quilt for our family room. It is approx. 51" square. It is so much fun to create seasonal wall quilts for this space in our home. This is my design. From top of my head. No pattern.

USING UP MY FABRIC STASH !
I have been using up my fabric stash.....in order to buy some more wonderful fabrics !! It never ends for us quilters / sewers !
Have wanted to do something for our community....so went searching for a pattern to make walker caddies. There were many to chose from, but I liked this one. The only thing I changed was the buttons. Used velcro instead. Took some to one nursing home a couple weeks ago, am finishing up more to take. They are fun and easy to make.
I like this style because it stabilizes the pouch with the tabs around the legs. While recovering from my reconstructive foot surgery last year, I had to use a walker and hop on one leg for two months ! What an ordeal. Just before my surgery I quickly threw together a bag to hang on my walker. Well after only a few days it was surmised fast, that a big bag would be better. Then the darn thing would swing back and forth with whatever I had stashed in it.
This bag for the nursing homes has the center pocket and two pockets on either side. Enough storage and "doesn't swing out." :) That is a good thing.
