A warm Hoosier Welcome

It has been a while since this Hoosier gal has posted anything. Am trying to get back in the groove . Will be posted sewing, decorating and crafting tips. I like frugality, using what you have in your present stash.

A RECYCLE CRAFT SUPPLY

DRYER  LINT  CLAY

Now, for those of us that love to create , thrifty with our money, and save the earth, well here is a unique clay that works well!
You will need:
3 Cups Dryer Lint                      2 Cups  Water
5 Drops of wintergreen oil (but you don't have to use this)
1 Cup Flour
Put lint in a saucepan. Cover with oil and water. When lint is saturated add the flour.  Stir until smooth.
Cook over medium heat.   Stir constantly till peaks form and holds together.
Pour in onto a newspaper to dry.

Now you can model with it.  Put unused in a plastic bag. Will only last a couple days this way.  Dry finished modeled product for 5 days.
ENJOY
Susan
